well ~ get him to rent it ~ and you watch it and tell her to close her eyes the whole movie !! hehe !! i used to take my brother to see movies like that ~ b4 you had to have a guardian present for under aged youngens to see it ~ he was about 12 and i was 18 and my friends and i let him sit a couple of rows in front of us so he could sit with his friends and we'd sit by ourselves !! but shortly afterwards ~ they wouldn't let three teenaged girls take a preteen to see a R rated movie ~ that the parents or guardian had to come too ~ which sucked so we started renting them after that !! ~ i've only seen a few in the movie theathre since ~ like 5 !!

:(alright ladies and gents, this is my request...if you liked princess diaries and cinderella....GO SEE ELLA ENCHANTED!! i just saw it the other night and it was SO awesome! okay, the stars are anne hathaway (princess diaries 1 and 2-due out this summer 2004), hugh dancy (his first big movie), minnie driver (return to me, good will hunting, etc.) , Parminder Nagra (bend it like beckham, er), Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill v.1and 2, Boat Trip, Soul Food) and more.
Ella is a typical young college girl, living in the days of fairies, giants, elves, castles, and really great clothing (the clothes and sets were those like most of the typical Renaissance-era movies, but with a modern day twist, quite awesome). Where she grows up all children are given a gift from their fairygodmothers when they are babies. Her fairygodmother is semi-brainless (Vivica A. Fox) and always gives odd gifts. She gives Ella the gift of obidiance, and therefore Ella must do anything she is told to whether she wants to or not. Ella is against the pressent king and all he has done and assumes his nephew and soon to be king, Charmont (Char) is just the same. The two have a "chance" meeting so to speak while she is on a quest to find her fairygodmother to take back the now curse. On her way she meets lots of cool people/beings and lots of funny things happen. I don't want to give away too much. Anne Hathaway brings her own humor (much like in Princess Diaries) to this fairytale, making it a laugh out loud time of fun. A must see!!!
*note* all singing done in the movie IS actually anne hathaway....she is so talented

oh yea, also van helsing was very very good...in my opinion....most of the people that i talked to said they didn't like it so much and thought that the only redeaming quality was the visual effects and that the acting and storyline were both crappy.....but i disagree...while both could've improved....i thourghouly enjoied the movie.....course my hugh was in it....heheh but that is not the only reason why.......speaking of him, i just finished watching "someone like you" with him, ashley judd and greg kinnear...now on video if you wanna rent it....very good romantic comedy) so yea those are my thoughts.....i've seen a lot of others lately too if anyone wants my opinion on anything.....
~your resident movie working bee (hey there's a thought kit!! if you want a resident movie critic i would be more then happy to take it on and give everyone the buzz...afterall...i watch a lot of movies in my line of work, often before they come out......but its just a thought....)
