I'm currently reading a book called "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. It sounds pretty interesting here's a little tid bit of what it is about....:
"Fact: The Priorty of Sion - A European secret society founded in 1099 -- is a real organization.
In 1975 Paris's Bibliothe`que Nationale discovered parchments known as "Les Dossiers Secrets", identifying numerous members of the Priorty Sion, including Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo, and Leonardo da Vinci.
The Vatican prelature known as Opus Dei is a deeply devote Catholic sect that has been the topic of recent controversy due to reports of brainwashing, coercion, and a dangerous practice known as "corporal mortification". Opus Dei has just completed construction of a $47 million World Headquarters at 243 Lexington Avenue in New York City.
All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in this novel are acurate.

TEXTOOOH i just read the greatest book ever!! Now maybe I'm showing my age just a bit here but I LOVE Harry Potter!!! The 5th book "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was by far the best!! It reminds me alot of myself and (in some but not all ways) of Charmed. ;D "the one with the power to vanquish the dark lord aproaches..born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the dark lord will mark him as his equal ,but he will have the power the dark lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ..the one with the power to vanquish the dark lord will be born as the seventh month dies"

has anyone read the 5 book series called "Bio of a Space Tyrant" by Piers Anthony (quite a few years old).
It's got enough factual "physics" information and just the right mix of fiction and sex, and intrigue. It's about a boy Hope Hubris and his familys exile from their home world to a better life and the trials and tribulations they embark upon during their journeys (piracy, murder, love)(first book, "Refugee" ) and it continues through his adulthood through his military career (second book, "Mercenary") then it goes into his life as a "Politician" in the third book, then in the 4th book he's an "Executive", and then in the final book #5. he is a "Statesman". It is a really good series, I've read it several times.
