Our young hero Harry Potter is now 14 years old and is set to leave his Muggle relatives in a couple of weeks to return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But one night Harry has a disturbing vision. Knowing that Lord Voldemort and his sinister familiars — the Death Eaters — are out to get him, Harry is understandably on edge. He contacts his godfather, Sirius Black, for help.

i can't wait for this movie, but i think they're cutting out his aunt, uncle and cousin. kind of a bummer. and i read somewhere that they're all signed for GoF but they aren't sure if they're going to do the others.

Yeah they are cutting out the Dursleys but that's ok. I just hope they don't cut out any IMPORTANT stuff.

I think that they all will still do the last three. I mean it would SUCK if the three didn't stay. They are Harry, Hermione, and Ron they are and NO ONE could EVER do as well plus us fans know the actors and the charectors so it wouldn't be the same.
Plus they all three said that they would do POA and wern't sure about GOF but so I think that they will do all of them.

okay this is the latest that i have heard, it should be true but it may not be....

Ralph Fienns (Maid In Manhattan, Shindlers List, Enlish Patient) will be playing Lord Voldermort

Brendon Gleesen (The Village, 28 Days Later, COld Mountain, Gangs of New York) will be playing Mad-Eye Moody

Miranda Richardson will be playing Rita Skeeter

and the director will be Mike Newell who directed Four Weddings and a Funeral as well as Mona Lisa Smile.

Originally the rights for the books to be made to movies were only bought for the first four books, making this the final movie in the agreement. but no one has said that they will not continue, once the others are written so i guess we'll hafta sit tight and see.

filming is currently underway with this movie....are we all excited yet?

thanks ash, i know i threw a few names out, but i hadn't gotten around to putting the whole cast up. btw, have you seen a pic of the actress playing cho chang? she's real pretty and perfect for the part... . Anyways, yea...can't WAIT for the movie either! YAY
