I think it might be Seamus Finnigan.
Because remember in the first one when he said,
"Me dad's a muggle, Mum's a witch bit of a nasty shock when he found out" So I think he could be the Half Blood Prince.

it could be either
1 bringing him more in to the character.
2 bring in some one new to replace sirus

i think its a real possibility....BUT dean is halfblood too... we dont' see a lot about his family past and such, but, he grew up with him mom-his dad left them when he was very young. he later finds out though that his dad.....as i recall.....i think he left to escape from voldermort? or did he join voldermort...dont' recall... anywho later he finds out his dad is a wizard and that how he came into it.......so who knows..... p.s. cr, i don't think we can say positivly that sirius is dead....we read that he fell back behind that arch....and the other characters told us he was dead.....there is always hope.....and twists......ya never know what j.k. might do  |

For me the only reason why I lean towards Seamus is because he said "But of a nasty shock when he found out" Dean is a good possibility too.
ALot of people think it might be Godric Gryffindor but I don't think so
As far as Sirius goes. I really don't think he is dead. I mean why kill off one of the best charectors and Harry's Godfather. YOu already killed off his parents why kill his Godfather too. Yes he has the weasly's who are practically family but it's not the same.
I think J.K. Rowling will end up brining him back. I think his name will then get clear once he does come back and once Voldemort is defeted for sure Harry will go live with Sirius.

exactly, thats just too depressing to have his parents die then his one good remaining legal guardian...though we now know why he has to stay with the dursleys every summer.....which SUCKS.....i wanna see how it goes there once the whole order threatened the dursleys ;D
