I broke down friday and bought a copy of Nemesis. Even though I'm unhappy about the way it ends, I still love my Star Trek!

CL, we must indoctrine you into "our" world of Star Trek..... I personally think Star Trek TNG (The Next Generation) was the best TV series of them all because of the interaction of the assemble of actors and actresses. I thought TOS (The Original Series) was good, my favorite episode would have had to have been the one where Capt. Kirk falls in love with Edith Keeler played by Joan Collins in "The City on the Edge of Forever", when Kirk and Spock go back in time to save McCoy. My next favorite would be "Space Seed" with Ricardo Montalban playing Khan. And then of course the one where Scotty gets a being devoid of emotion drunk and when the being asks Scotty what it is they're drinking Scotty says in his wonderful scottish brogue "It's, it's, it's green" I loved that line, but I can't remember the name of the episode though.

I was channel surfing today, and passed by the Spike TV channel (I love the fact they run several episodes of ST:TNG a day), well anywho, they were playing part I of the episode in which Spock is trying to bring together the Romulans and the Vulcans because of the benefit it could be to each of them if they embraced their historical beginnings (similiarities) with one another (I think it was "Unification")and I happened to flip through to that part where Jean Luc Picard is talking with the respresentative for Gowron (Chancellor of the Klingon High Council). Picard (had been instrumental in Gowron becoming Chancellor) was a little miffed at first having to wait a few days to get an audience with Gowron, only to be talking at this time to basically a flunky and anyway, I loved the scene where Picard mental works this klingon and gets his point across to get exactly what he wants from Gowron to complete his mission with Data to find Spock. It was a great scene to happen upon, and made me realize that I really need to get back to watching my favorite scifi show again. I had forgotten, that my all time favorite ST:TNG episode "The Inner Light" is also from this particular season, I really hope that Spike TV follows the episodes in order, it would be sweet to see it again.
