Your "Friends" @ The WB re: Angel

Was anybody else sick and disgusted when they saw the WB run a clip after the end of the series finale of "Angel" that stated Thank You For Watching, Your Friends @ The WB! That just pisses me off! First "Angel" fans have to fight like hell to get picked up for a fifth season, then the budget is worst in the WB's history (if I'm not mistaken), then they want to decide that it's time to cancell the show just when ratings start to skyrocket...literally! Then "Angel" fans came together and brought the BIGGEST campaign to save a show in television history, not to mention the nearly $50,000 they raised doing it, but no that's not good enough to the WB then they have the nerve AFTER THEY CANCELL ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS to say Thank You For Watching, Your Friends @ The WB!

Yes, That was extremely lame on their part, almost like it was a slap in the face for Angel fans. Even though as you mentioned everything that was done to keep it alive..... I hope another network picks it up (I don't know how feasible that is), but if it were to happen what sweet revenge it would be...... don't you think?

Brent, i totally agree. I sitting there watching that load of bull thinking if they were so thankful and appreciative, why the heck did they cancel the show. The only two shows I watched on the WB were Angel and Charmed. I'm sure they could have weeded through that other mess they call programming and found something else to cancel.

i agree 200 % !! it sucked !! i thought the exact same thing ya'll did !! i was so mad !! i hope another station picks it up too ~ but if upn picks it up i won't be able to watch it ~ i don't have that channel !! ~ the only shoe i watch on it now is charmed ~ and i only watched angel on it too ~ the rest of the programing sucked ~ except ~ reba ~ it's a cute little show but i don't watch it every time it comes on ~ and now she's taking a break to go back on tour !!

As much as I wish another station would pick up "Angel" for us I doubt it'll happen as I've heard (rumors of course) the cast is moving on and David Boreanaz has even turned down the opportunity to do "Angel" movie because he just wants a break. So sad and it just makes me angry every time I think about it! I HATE THE WB, the only reason I watch is "Charmed" & "One Tree Hill" (well *used* to be "Angel" too but guess that's not happening anymore)

I really think it'd be a slap in the face for the WB though if later on something BIG happened to "Angel" and the WB wasn't any part of it and it became an even bigger hit that the WB couldn't scandal anymore money off of!

Even if they did decide to do the movie, I don't think it'd be fair for the WB to reap the benefits of it.

I think if any network should pick Angel up, it should be TNT. I mean, it has it every freaking weekday! It wouldn't hurt them to sponsor Angel and cut out a few of it's movies, reschedule, something like that. Angel needs to be brought back!

We're looking for writers, creative consultants, editors, people who can do graphic, etc. It should be a lot of fun. Hey we're just trying to keep Angel alive. like Jesse Jackson said "Keep hope alive", lol

nope just repetes.. from what i hear it's continueing in the comics where angel
goes to romania to find more about his soul or have it removed go to your comic book
store and ask not sure what the title is called
