Trivia for "Charmed"
Alyssa Milano replaced Lori Rom in the role of Phoebe Halliwell. (I know everyone knows this already.) But, do you know the rest?
The opening theme, "How Soon is Now" is a cover of a song by '80s British band The Smiths.
In Episode #3.6 "Primrose Path", Prue (Shannen Doherty) gains superpowers to fight the demon Vinceres (Morgan Weisser). The fight scene in the manor is very similar of the scene in Matrix, The (1999) when Neo (Keanu Reeves) fights Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) in the railway station.
The house used for the exterior shots of the "Manor" is located at 1329 Carroll Ave in the Echo Park Section of Los Angeles.
At the end of Season three, Shannen Doherty quit. At the same time WB announced they will pick up Charmed for the next three years
In June 2001, Executive Producer, Aaron Spelling announced Rose McGowan to play the part of Paige Halliwell, the long lost younger sister of Prue, Piper and Phoebe.
Brian Krause originally auditioned for the role of Andy
The Book of Shadows weighs 9 pounds, 6 ounces and is the most valuable thing on set.
The actress with the most Charmed Fan Mail is actually not one of the main stars of the show. Actress Finola Hughes who plays the girl's mother receives the most fan mail from Charmed series viewers.
The only male witches shown in the series have all been children. (Until season 6 "Love's A Witch".... thanks for the correction Goddess ;D )
In the episode "Sand Francisco Dreamin'" Pheobe asks the question "Who's the boss?" which is the title of the TV show that Alyssa Milano starred in when she was younger.

Did You Know....
...that Phoebe's power of levitation was cut out of the show indefinitely, due to budget reasons. Slim chance we'll get to see it again in the future.
...that 'Charmed' benefited from the Film California First rebate incentive program, in which filmmakers, directors and producers lower their production costs by obtaining up to $300,000 for filming in the state. The WB series Charmed received more than $34,000 for fire safety, transportation and pyrotechnics, while Buffy the Vampire Slayer has received $31,000 in rebates in June of 2002.
...that in the first pilot pickup this development season, CBS has ordered "Clubhouse," a coming-of-age drama from Mel Gibson's Icon Prods. and Spelling Television. The project, written by Daniel Cerone (the WB Network's "Charmed"), is based on a yet-to-be-published book by Matt McGough about a Yankees bat boy.
...that the studio that Charmed is filmed at is looking for a new home? When Charmed is goes into season seven, it will be at a new studio because the studio they film at now will be sold for condos. [studio name omitted due to security issues]
...that the cars used on Charmed are rented on a yearly basis whether they use them or not. And renting a car like the Mini Cooper (Phoebe's car) can be as close to $30,000 a year. They will be using the cars a whole lot less on the show this season because the agency they use to rent the cars are charging too much. And the replicas they have on the lot were either sold or currently being used on other shows.
...that props and furniture always change because the furniture, etc. is for ever being destroyed because of stunts. Many things that were seen this season (S6) weren't there last season. For an example you might have notice the stained glass windows are different shades of color, so are some of the walls and some of the furniture was different as well..
...that they don't go out that much on location shoots due to the budget. And that the special effect/digital effects on the season premiere (S6) alone cost close to 80,000. Not only Special Effects takes most of Charmed budget but the clothing department as well. They blew thousands of dollars on the season premiere of the show, as well as the next three episodes. They wasted about more than 30-something thousand dollars in two scenes alone. The costume department wasted more than half a million dollars last season (S5) and I hear they planned to raise the budget to 28,000 every week in S6, they would be wasting 1,350,000 every year. That's a lot of designer clothes! So much for going to Target.

...that every year the cars are changed to match with the year, you can see the most notable change in Piper's Jeep Grand Cherokee which is still Laredo, but is very different from the Season 4 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Edition.
...that Phoebe's new car for Season 5 was going to be a Land Rover Discovery, but they chose BMW's Mini Cooper because of the offer they received from their pre-existing contract for the BMW X5, Prue owned in Season 3. (BMW makes Mini)
...Paige's car will most likely be changed to it's convertible edition, ...we'll see.
...Alyssa and Holly purchased the same cars after their third paycheck, from last years season, (cars omitted for security reasons).
...some of the favorite brands used on the show are Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Donna Karan , and for jewlery Tag Heur, Piaget, and Cartier.
