My wife and I have never seen this show. We looked through our program listing and could not find it. I was wondering what network carries it and when does it come on?

Charmed can be viewed during primetime on The WB network www.thewb.com/Index/0,7349,,00.html . Season six just finished airing on May 16th. Season seven is scheduled to start September 26th (this fall). The WB (the home of Charmed) has several affiliates to which you should be able to find what local station near you would air it. However, there is another network (TNT) that airs Charmed Monday-Friday @9am(ET) (currently airing season five episodes) and @6pm(ET) (currently airing season two episodes) and also @10pm(ET) Tuesday nights (season six episodes). Unfortunately for us Charmed viewers on the TNT network, TNT has been airing the NBA playoffs for the past month and the season six episodes have been behind in being aired in the manner in which they usually are, but that will change and airing on Tuesday nights will resume on June 1 st. TNT repeats the seasons over and over again during the 9am and 6pm air times throughout the year, so if you aren't familiar with the show, don't worry... Season one will start again with the very first episode of the show "Something Wicca This Way Comes" starting with the 9am shows beginning June 2 nd. There's a brief synopsis I've posted in each season thread here at the Playhouse for each episode if you'd like to read what each one is about, also, below I've posted a brief history of what the show is about: The craft in the Halliwell line originated with a witch named Melinda Warren. Born in Virginia in the 1670s, Melinda and her family moved to Salem, Massachussetts, the setting of the famous Salem Witch Trials. Unfortunately, Melinda was hanged during the trials but because of the generosity of those who took care of her daughter after her death, her line was able to continue and eventually develop into the strongest good magic of all time.
A prophecy foretold of the Charmed Ones -- three sisters, descendents of Melinda Warren who were destined to become the most powerful good witches of all time. One sister would have the ability to move things with her mind, the second would be able to stop time and the third to have premonitions, visions of the future. Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell did not suspect that they were witches, let alone the Charmed Ones. When their mother was pregnant with Phoebe, a warlock named Nicholas tricked their mother and captured her, forcing her to bless a ring which would grant him immunity to the sisters' powers. In order to protect her grandchildren from Nicholas, the sisters' grandmother bound their powers after Phoebe was born and afterwards their mother and grandmother hid the fact that they were witches. Consequently, Piper and Prue forgot that they had once had powers and Phoebe never had the opportunity to remember.
The sisters did not discover they were witches until twenty years later when they were adults and shortly after their grandmother died. Phoebe returned from living in New York, where she moved after Grams passed away, and moved in with her sisters back into the manor in which they grew up. While cleaning the house, Prue stumbled upon a spirit board that the girls' mother gave them when they were young. When Phoebe began asking the board questions, the pointer began moving by itself and spelled out the word "attic." The sisters dismissed the spirit board's message, but later that night Phoebe was led into the attic, which had been closed off for as long as she and her sisters could remember but somehow that night the door opened. A strange ray of light led her to an old trunk in which she found the Book of Shadows, an ancient volume filled with magical spells and incantations that had been added to by each generation of Warren witches. She read one of the incantations aloud, reawakening powers inside her and her sisters that they never knew they had.
With their powers came the added responsibility of protecting innocents and the burden of fighting and vanquishing demons and warlocks who began to pursue them. Becoming witches also made it necessary for them to connect as sisters in order to protect themselves as well as others. Making that connection proved a difficult endeavor, but they managed to overcome their differences and finally accept each other.
After Prue died, Phoebe and Piper felt lost and Piper was ready to give up on her magic until they discovered that they had another sister. After the sisters' mother and father divorced, their mother had a forbidden affair with her whitelighter. As a result of that relationship, Paige was born and she presented an opportunity for the power of three to be reconstituted in spite of Prue's death. Hesitant at first to accept a new sister into their lives, Phoebe and Piper realized that they still had an obligation to their powers and to innocent people they were destined to protect. The sisters are slowly beginning to accept each other and trying to form a family again.I personally enjoy the show because of the sisterly bond between the characters and the comedy that arises between them all. over here(aus) is channel ten thursdays 7:30 or it was till ti finished we dont get repeats only stupid aus idol !

Hey everyone I have a question. Does anyone here have sattelite? Dish Network to be more specific? and if you do, do you know what channel the Oxygen channel is on?

Yeah it does but theres way too many channels to look through and no easy way to find it.. but it's ok I'll find out somehow

Maybe you could "google" the Oxygen Channel, and find out if there's a listing for satellite users? I'm not sure, or maybe you could go to the satellite providers website and see if they have a listing for The Oxygen Channel? I know that my local cable company TWC has a website with listings as well as the office itself has loads of brochures that have a listing of where all the channels are listed in the different cable tiers. Like I said, I'm not familiar with satellite and their setup, but I would think they would be as competative as the cable stations in regards to making information available..... at least I would hope so. Hope that helps a little bit.

channel 10 is on free to air tv so we get every thing from news to charmed which is were we dont pay for what we watch only the electricity to run the tv the channels here are 10, 9, 7, sbs, 2
although on mi tv its 3,2,1,0 i dont get sbs only cause when i was tuning the tv it would not go on the right channels they are there and tuned to them it just my remote battery is broke so i have to change it at the tv and they are the easyest ones to reach !
the wb shows all the shows i watch over here on the one channel but here charmed and 7th heaven 10, gilmore girls, smallvill 9, grounded for life 7 we dont get any of the other ones.
we(the stations) have to buy the rights to shows 10 has obv 2 , 9 has 2, and 7 has 1
were do u think i get all my info from its american sites that i get it from seeing that america is ahed of us i can go find what i hneed tell my frined and leave them wondering how i kno and they dont.
