I just saw some screencaps of the opening credits for season seven and all the pictures of everyone are new except one older picture of HMC from season five. I noticed that Dorian Gregory will be listed in the opening credits which was a relief because I hope he stays with the show. I also noticed that HMC has retained the last position "and Holly Marie Combs as "piper", which I personally feel is an honor because to me it signifys saving the best for last......JMO.

overall i guess i liked it....i dunno...i think i was expecting more....granted i wasnt' expecting leo to kill another elder...that really sucked....hmmm....yknow i really gotta watch it again to make a real decision. i love that paige is taking action for the magic school, i was hoping she would. and the whole storyline with darryl and his new partner is getting real interesting. i don't know.......let me watch it again tomorrow and come back and post more

i thought that the whole Indian gods thing with piper and leo was great..i definitely cracked up when they were all over each other especially when she pinched his butt. i guess the big question that i want answered (and it probably won't happen until sweeps week) is who is the "entity" that Barbus was working with.

ummmm. sounds interesting... I personally think "the kiss" was to hyped up, but the overall episode was good. I too liked the hindu storyline, and the connection made between Piper and Leo with her saying "no one will ever know" or something along those lines.... unfortunately, I can't imagine who this "new" entity could be..... the "face" as I will refer to him as being for the time being..... I can't imagine the rest of the elders not knowing what would have happened or be able to not figure out what happened to Zola the elder Leo killed. It doesn't look good for Leo this season....... Also, I'm glad to see Darryl, but I'm sorry, why couldn't someone have saved some of Sam's "whitelighter dust" from season 2 "P3H2O" in order to "dust" sheridan? (answer me that riddler....) Also, I think Paige looks great (a little sun goes a long way) and in so far as her taking on the elders in regards of the magic school YIPPIE! She has definitely won points with Piper in regards to basically 'sticking' it to the elders in so far as being a pain in the nether regions...... the possible fireworks for that storyline will be great to see Paige's character development instead of watching Phoebe's development(s) every episode so to speak.... I think for a change all of the characters (sisters) were represented evenly for a change.... I hope this season stays that course...... I like the idea of another arc possibility to add intrigue like last seasons three staged arc provided...... Overall, I would have to give this season opener (even though it was only an hour) an 7 out of 10, because it was enjoyable to watch even after watching 3 times already. JMO

all very well stated kit....i too was confused when piper said no one would know because....well...how is it possible for no one to know, right?
in reguards to paige, we all know i love her, so i am happy about this. i think that it's about time she finds something she really cares for and does...i mean she did like the social work thing, but i think this is truley her. and i think we will see a lot more growing on paige's part...though as i haev said before she grew a lot in season 6.....
i agree that there seem to be a lot of changes on the horizon and i am interested to see what they all are....esp. with leo.......and "the face"...
anywho, still haven't watched it the second time around so i will go do that now

I thought it was pretty good overall ya know. I didnt like the Leo killing the other elder either.. and the fact that their closing down magic school. But i'm sure Paige wont let it die. And Darryl seriously made me mad, and that cop he was working with  ooooh lol. But otherwise it was pretty good |

ok well i watched it again, most of my thoughts are similar....i did like it. it was a very very good episode, but not one that i would have expected for a season premeire. i think that's what made me so unsure of it after watching it the first time.

well i was expecting more. i'm not sure what exactly though. but i do like seeing paige take an active role for the magic school. also that piper and leo are more comfertable around each other now. (and cp4 love the john ritter tribute)

i for one LOVED last nights ep! though i missed the first 15mis cause we were out at dinner. but it was great. i missed the whole breast feeding thing...i guess i will figure it out on tuesday when i watch it again. i am SO happy that the magic school is staying open and that paige is in charge...didn't suprise me of course.....argh... nick lachey is SO annoying! his acting just seems so....i dunno....i can't say he's a bad actor...i would feel bad...but....i mean...he is always smiling! and i guess he seems fake...his char that is. is he becomes the father of phoebe's child i will.....i will.....cry!
otherwise, i am forgetting the rest of the ep....the whole lady godvia thing was cool esp. the demon (forgetting his name) that aspect of the show really made me feel like we were back in the old days of charmed...esp. when he was walking around town making all the people full of anger....

i loved both epys !! esp the bare witch project !! i've breast feed in public ~ but in my mom's car ~ so no one could really see what i was doing ~ it sucks that some people are still in the dark ages about feeding babies !! but it's not just in the tv world either !!

I think that episode probably hit really close to home with HMC and Alyssa in regards to HMC being a new mom.... and probably feeling that breast feeding in public is an issue that she might have faced or knew of someone who may have gone through it..... JMO. And of course since HMC and AM are best friends, I'm sure they being that and co-producers of the show, any storyline ideas they could strongly suggest would be looked at and further developed. I personally feel that this season will deal alot with new mom issues because of HMC's new mom status, as opposed to last year when she was a "fake" new mom on the show with the character of Wyatt playing her "first" born. Overall, I agree with CP4 in regards to her assessment that it seemed as though they (the writers) were going back to the "feel" of the older seasons with the handling of the demon, but the only thing I didn't see that had any redeeming value whatsoever was Phoebe riding naked horseback...... because basically it was just to show her "ass"ets again in an attempt at a "Phoebe" show..... I'm sorry, but that's JMO.

i agree with you, i see where they were wanting phoebe's "ride" to be proving her point and go along with the show....but.....i am sure they could have done it another way.......but i still liked it cause it made that jerk change his rule. and i think this season will be a very good season! though....rose has made it through 3 seasons on the show am i right? so why is she not producing yet?! holly and alyssa started after 3 years so why not rose? oh well.....
