i was looking for something today, and then came across this.
WB boss explains reason for Charmed cancellation

Jordan Levin, the network chief who axed Charmed, explains the reason for what is sure to be a highly unpopular decision.
"The big problem with Charmed is it didn’t repeat well," Levin told E!Online’s Kristin. "It wasn’t growing its audience, but it was a show we loved. We adore the show. It was a really hard decision.

Hmm that is weird...so are they canceling it because no one watched the re-runs? ((confused)) they BETTER finish out the season at least......ech...okay I am off to hunt more info on this.

well thats not true because look how big it is in other countrys and also i know once i started watching it i got others to watch the reruns so that don't make any sense.

Okay well I read on the TNT message board that someone said (Brad Kern actually) that WB has not let him know yet about the show's future and he is currently writing the season finale. What this means is, he is writing an ep that if the WB does pull the plug, then the ep will be the final episdoe and he will be able to give us a final episode we diserve. And if WB DOESN"T pull the plug then he can write himself out of it in the premere for season 8,.....does that make sense? So...even though we don't know yet....at least if it DOES happen, we will have a kick butt finale.

it's not about the end of charmed, but an epy coming up.
to help celebrate the drama's 150th episode, the aggresively sexy julian mcmahon reprises his role as the halk-demon/half-mortal cole, phoebe's cad of an ex-husband who was banished by the sisters in the fifth season. looking for redemption, cole helps piper reunite with her beloved hubby, leo now stricken with a srange case of amnesia because he angered the elders. cole's involvement in the whole affair seems like a painfully thin excuse to bring mcmahon back, but really, who cares? he's damn fine to look at.

Okay...so...the title of the season 7 finale ep. is "Something Wicca This Way Goes"
Now it is still not confirmed if there will or will not be a 8th season (Brad Kern still does not know!), but...think back to Season 1:Ep 1....Somthing Wicca This Way Comes
It seems....well....it seems like a final title.
Someone on the TNT board said that within the next week or two they should be filming this ep...so then after that it will either be the end or a break...and still WE DON"T KNOW!!! ((cry)) How can they do this to us and to our show?!?!?!
Again, they are saying final word should come by the end of May.
My thoughts are....I really hope that if we DO get another season...that they will have shot alternate scenes for this scenario cause....well....what if they air an ep. that can be either the final or the not final and...its not the final ep. Cause then either way....we'll be getting cheated.
Grrrrr. Stupid WB execs. I want another season and I want a 100% wonderful and much needed series finale!!!!!!!!!!!!

according to alyssa milano's website they should know the fate of charmed on may 15th. so all we can do is hold our breath and wait until then...i know i am just as annoyed as you are.

all i have to say to the executive is ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr at them if they don't give us one more season and a good series finale! because i will stop watching all the wbs shows..... wow sorry i just mad because i sad  if they end it this year. waiting is suspense! |

I'm mad at the fact that if this ISN'T the last season....then the ending we were supposed to have, the one Brad Kern wrote for this seasons finale's as a just in case....will be gone and he will have to come up with a completely different and possibly not as good ending....does that make sense? Stupid WB people, they should have been nice and told Brad Kern months ago!!

Well we are SUPPOSED to know for sure on May 17th (ONE WEEK!!) when the WB will announce their fall line up...can we say DELAYED ANOUNCEMENT?!?! I mean...please! So much for letting people know at a better time. Garh. One week....one week and we will know the fate.....it makes you want to scream.
