TEASER
Int. Manor – Attic – Night
Fade in on Piper entering the attic while Leo paces back and forth, deep in thought. Piper tells him that the kids are asleep and Piper and Phoebe are out. Piper tries to put him at ease by saying “You’re just one Elder calling another, seeing if you can help.” But Leo is concerned about them finding out. She tells him “You can’t move forward if you don’t let go of the past.” Leo nods, but it is still obvious that he is nervous. He admits to Piper that he’s been seeing things lately and hearing voices. He doesn’t know if he should believe he’s imagining them since they seem so real. “Ignore them, it’s just self-doubt.” Piper says reassuringly. She tells him yet again that he needs to do this and leaves the attic with “Now, go play nice with the other Elders.”
Int. Manor – Attic – Night
Leo centers himself, closes his eyes, then after a beat a familiar Elder orbs in. He is obviously glad to be here as he says hello to Leo and Leo thanks him for coming. They quickly get beyond the normal chit-chat as Leo asks if there’s any news on who killed Zola. The Elder tells him “No, but we’ll find out who did it, we have to. As you know, anyone who kills an Elder is as dangerous as it gets.” Leo tells him that he wants to find his way again since Gideon messed him up. The Elder thinks about it, and then tells Leo about some Whitelighters who lost track of their witch practitioner charges recently. Leo eagerly says that he’ll get the sisters right on it and keep the Elder posted. The Elder orbs out and Leo suddenly feels something whoosh past him and he hears “He lies Leo…he lies. You can’t trust him…you can’t trust yourself.” The creature whizzes past Leo then disappears.
Ext. Wiccan Book Shop – Back Alley – Night
Brenda Castillo, tired after a hard day’s work, locks up a Wiccan book store. She puts the keys in her pocket and begins her walk home in the heavy fog. A little chilly, she huddles in her jacket as she hears the sound of someone whistling an eerie melody. Brenda stops mid-stride and calls out “Hello? Is someone there?” The whistling stops, she looks around, but she sees no one. When she starts walking again, the whistling starts up again, and she can hears the sound of footsteps. The whistling stops, but the footsteps pick up pace and begin to alternate with Brenda’s stops. She begins to run down the street as something whooshes past. She tries in vain to see anything.
Int. Brenda’s Apartment – Night
She quickly enters and locks the door behind her. She’s breathing heavy and obviously shaken. She runs to close the open window through which fog is seeping into her apartment. Just as she puts her hand on the window frame, a hand spins her around to reveal a man with a red sash on his waist and a scarf on his head. As he steps in to the light, we see he is dressed like a pirate. Brenda is too scared to scream, but he still grabs her and covers her mouth as he says “Anybody ever tell you not to walk alone at night, witch?” She starts to scream, but he tosses her over his shoulder, jumps out the open window and vanishes into the fog – her muffled scream dissipating with them. A shiny gold object sails into the apartment and spins on the floor. As it spins to a stop, we see it is a doubloon with the image of a skull with a dagger pierced through it.

ACT ONE
Int. Manor – Kitchen – Morning
Piper is checking the baby monitor’s volume as she pours the last of the coffee. Leo appears to have spent all night at the table with the Book Of Shadows, maps, newspaper clipping and scrying crystals. Leo doesn’t understand why sensing, summoning and scrying for them hasn’t worked. Piper suggests that he’s trying too hard and maybe this really isn’t anything. Leo is convinced that he wouldn’t have been given this task if the Elder didn’t think it was something. They determine that the common denominators are that the missing girls are witches and that there was a fog that rolled in just before each disappearance. Piper starts to rifle through the Book Of Shadows to look up demonic fog. Paige orbs in, peeved that a kid at Magic School has called her ma’am. “I’m too young to be old!” she says. Piper tells her about what she and Leo are working on “Sounds like a job for the young, kick-ass Charmed ones!” she says as she exits the kitchen ready for action.
Int. Manor - Main Hall/Foyer – Morning
Piper asks Paige where she’s going and upon hearing that Paige was going to scry for them, tells her that it isn’t working. Leo admits that too much time has probably passed since the last one disappeared. Paige suggests they find out if anyone has disappeared more recently. Paige suggests that Darryl check with Missing Persons to see if there’s anyone that even the Elders don’t know about yet. Piper says “Great! He’s right outside.” Paige opens the door.
Ext. Manor – Morning
Inspector Sheridan and Darryl are sitting in a parked, unmarked car in plain view.
Resume – Int. Manor – Foyer – Morning
A surprised Paige closes the door as Piper explains that Inspector Sheridan wants to bust them any way she can. Leo suggest that they can’t go looking for missing witches while being followed. Paige says “Unless we distract her. Phoebe still home?”
Ext. Manor / Int. Sheridan’s Car – Morning
Inspector Sheridan is complaining to someone on her cell phone about a blood sample that was sent back east three weeks ago that now, cannot be found. Darryl says “You do know they saw us, right?” and Sheridan tells him she wants them to be seen. She continues getting frustrated on her cell phone and demands the blood results. Exasperated, she hangs up and says “I hate the Feds.” It turns out the blood sample is from Piper’s room and she believes it will show her what’s really going on. A chipper Piper approaches with a full breakfast tray. Inspector Sheridan says “Look, if you think this is going to…”and Piper freezes her in mid-sentence. A freaked out Darryl wants Piper to unfreeze her, but she can’t because they need to talk. Darryl tries to tell her he’s made it clear that they have nothing to talk about, but Piper ignores him and asks him about the string of missing women the press isn’t being told about. Piper tells Darryl that they know about that because the missing women are witches. Piper asks if any have been reported missing today. Darryl says he can’t do that, as Piper responds “If you want to help Sheridan hang us out to dry, that’s your business, but this isn’t about that.” Darryl relents, pulls out his note pad and tells her of Brenda Castillo. Piper thanks him and unfreezes Sheridan who finishes her sentence. Sheridan hears an engine and sees Phoebe backing out of the driveway and race down the street. Sheridan tosses the breakfast tray on the street and races off. As they drive away, Piper says “Don’t worry, I’ll clean this up!”, then pulls out her cell phone, dials and gives Paige the info Darryl just gave her.
Int. Treasure Island Grotto – Morning
Brenda is coming to, but she is shackled in a corner of a dark cave. An eerie fog creeps in from the entrance. Looking down after hearing a squeak, she is horrified to see a rat scurrying around her feet and even more horrified to see a skeleton – the remains of a woman wearing contemporary clothing. A light comes on her and we see three pirates including one from the teaser. Not one of them looks a day past 30. First Mate Reznor tells her that no one will hear her scream. He unshackles her legs. She asks what they want and she is told that their Captain would like a word. As he turns, we see two more pirates standing guard in front of a man buried in the shadows. Captain Jack Cutting comes out of the shadows looking like he’s almost 300. He asks that she be brought closer and he takes a deep breath of her and says “The stench of a witch, I’d know if anywhere.” Brenda asks what he wants to which he replies “I want you to die, but not too fast.” He is handed an ancient athame and he says “One of your kind cursed me with this a very long time ago. Of course, then I used it to cut her heart out.” He scares Brenda by making a move that makes her think he will kill her right then and there, but only gives her a mild cut on the shoulder and says “Take her away.” Reznor says “But what about the Charmed ones?” to which the Captain replies “All good things to those who wait.”
Int. Bay Mirror – Phoebe’s Office – Day
Phoebe pokes her head around the corner to find Leslie reading the paper and says “Knock knock.” Phoebe is returning his call. Leslie found an idea in her files about a Win A Date With Phoebe contest that Elise had suggested. Leslie believes it would be good PR and tells her he’d love nothing more than to leave her with more readers that she had when he arrived. Phoebe tells him she’s taking a break from dating and adds “Besides, you never know who’s going to win the contest.” Leslie blurts out that he’d win it. She then asks “Are you asking me out?” to which Leslie responds “Strictly professionally. I know, why not do the date tonight, get it over with?” They decide on 8 o’clock at Maxine’s. Phoebe leaves and we see Leslie pick up today’s paper where on the front page is reads Lucky Leslie wins date with Ask Phoebe.
Int. Brenda’s Apartment/Outer Corridor – Day
Brenda’s roommate, Carly, is confused to see Paige at her door. Carly doesn’t want to talk to Paige since she’s not with the police but Paige convinces her. Carly doesn’t believe in witchcraft but “I will if it’ll help find her.” Paige also learns that Brenda and Carly are partners and Carly believes that the police believe Brenda is missing over a lover’s spat. Carly shows Paige the doubloon.
Int. Treasure Island Grotto – Day
Doubloon in hand, Paige orbs in and starts whispering “Brenda” She hears the clanging of shackles and turns to see Brenda ling on the floor in shackles but curiously older with a few wrinkles and a little gray. Brenda says “Go away, hurry” Before Paige can ask why, some of the pirate crew materialize out of the fog behind her as more come from out of the shadows with Captain Cutting. The Captain says “Took you long enough, deary. We’ve been waiting for you.

ACT TWO
Captain Cutting says to Paige “you wouldn’t just orb out and leave an innocent stranded, would you witch?” to Paige. She obviously can’t. He tells her how for 300 years, only when the mystical fog rolls in, he can come. He tells her he picked San Francisco because it has the Charmed Ones and only they can get him the treasure he so desires. After a smart remark, he says to her “you’re quick with the tongue. But let me ask you, when the gathering storm arrives here, will you be making jokes then.” He doesn’t intend to be there when the storm arrives. Paige asks why he just doesn’t leave now. He gets the ancient athame, but Paige orbs it to herself (calling it Sword) and stabs Reznor, but instead of being hurt, he’s just irritated. Another pirate removes the athame, leaving only a tear in Reznor’s shirt – no blood. Reznor tosses the athame to Captain Cutting, and then shoves Paige towards the Captain who slashes her arm. She looks at Brenda, but decides she has no choice but to orb out. “I let her go. She’s no good to us alone.” The Captain says. He believes the sisters will return when they realize they’ve got no choice. He reminds them of their oath to do as he says, when he says or their hell will never end. He asks about the golden chalice. Reznor tells him they’ve had difficulty procuring it. The Captain thinks there may be another way. He looks at Brenda and says “We want the witches to rescue her, remember?”
Int. Manor – Attic – Day
Leo heals Paige as Piper flips through the Book Of Shadows. Piper announces that there’s nothing in the book on pirates and Leo says pirates were a little before his time. Paige wants to double-check the Book Of Shadows herself, but has to squint to read it claiming that she’s a little woozy. She believes they should check the Magic School to see if they have any info on pirates. Phoebe enters and upon hearing talk of pirates asks “Pirates? Hot like Johnny Depp pirates?” Piper and Paige disagree on what the pirates are which just leaves Phoebe even more confused so they decide to tell her the whole story. Phoebe doesn’t think they’ll find any info at Magic School as pirates aren’t usually associated with magic and may have a better idea.
Int. Bay Mirror – Bullpen – Day
A famous movie critic says “Pirate movies? You want to know about pirate movies?” He’s talking to Phoebe. “Everything you know, go ahead, fire away.” She says. The movie critic believes Mutiny On The Bounty was the best pirate movie. Leslie enters saying that was a swashbuckler and admits he grew up watching pirate movies with his dad. As he leads Phoebe away from the movie critic, he names all sorts of pirate movies he’s seen. He asks her if they’re still on for tonight “You wouldn’t want to break the pirate’s oath.” He says. “Pirate’s oath?” she asks. He explains that if the captain gives his word to his crew, he’s got to keep it or face mutiny. They go into her office to discuss pirates.
Int. Police Station – Bullpen – Day
Inspector Sheridan is angry as she comes out of her Captain’s office followed by Darryl. “I cannot freakin’ believe he’s gonna pull us off this case.” She says. Darryl tells her he doesn’t think they have had that much to go on. She tells him they have plenty to go on and would have even more if he came clean. He says “All I know is the Halliwells are good people. They do good things.” She counters with “Six years of unsolved crimes of all types, all mysteriously connected to them. I don’t care what you say, that’s not good people.” Sheridan picks up the phone and calls the Feds to find out what happened to the blood sample so she can get proof. She looks up to find Agent Brody flashing his Homeland Security ID. A Fed in the flesh.
Int. Magic School – Great Hall – Day
As Paige is making stockpiles of potions, Piper rounds the corner with another old book open in her hand. Paige is having a hard time hearing Piper. Piper’s found the story of Captain Black Jack Cutting who, in the 18th century, tricked a witch into falling for him so she’s cast a spell to make him immortal and cut her heart out with the same athame she used to curse him with. A confused Paige asks “He already had immortality, what could she possibly curse him with?” “To continue to age forever. Didn’t you say he looked super old.” Piper answers. Paige asks Piper to repeat the question when a concerned Piper asks if she feels ok because she doesn’t look so well. Paige says she’s fine and tells Piper about the gathering storm the Captain mentioned. Piper finds nothing about the storm in the book. She believes the Captain is kidnapping witches to bait them into reversing the spell. Phoebe enters and is ready to answer all questions about buccaneers. She tells them how Leslie is an expert on pirates. Piper and Phoebe both turn when they hear breaking glass to see Paige standing over 2 broken vials with a twitching hand. Piper thinks the athame did more damage than they originally thought and calls for Leo. Paige insists she’s alright and just needs to lie down.
Int. Police Station – Sheridan’s Desk – Day
Agent Brody watches a skeptical Inspector Sheridan talking on the phone, not liking what she’s hearing. Darryl shifts his looks between them. Sheridan hangs up and says “Okay Agent Brody. You check out…for now.” Agent Brody wants to know where the blood sample came from because it’s not human. Brody opens his briefcase and pulls out the official report. He explains “DNA shows a triple helix, we’ve only got two. Plus, the plasma, platelets, Rh factors, they’re all…incredible.” Agent Brody asks Darryl to explain to a confused Inspector Sheridan what kind of being the sample came from. Darryl says “Being? How would I know?” Brody lets him off the hook for now by telling him it’s the Halliwells he’s after. Brody talks of a pattern of missing women in port cities that began decades ago except, they’re not missing women, they’re missing witches. Sheridan finally speaks up and asks “Wait, so you’re saying the Halliwells aren’t human?” Brody warns her how people, especially cops, tend to disappear around those girls as he puts the report back in his briefcase. He tells them how he’s been looking for a long time to prove his theories and only needs to catch them in the act “Got any golden chalices lying around?”
Int. Treasure Island Grotto – Day
Piper and Phoebe cautiously enter the dark, creepy cave armed with potions. Piper wonders if Paige scared the pirates off, but Phoebe reminds Piper that pirates don’t run from fights, they lure you into them. Phoebe is looking at the beautiful fountain when they hear a sound, grab a lantern from the wall and find Old Brenda shackled right where we saw young Brenda. With her dying breaths, she says “You must leave.” Phoebe and Piper rush to her and remove the shackles asking who did this to her. Brenda says “Pirates. He cut me with the athame.” They are shocked to learn this is Brenda. Piper says “Oh my God, Paige…we have to get back.” And Phoebe says “We can’t leave her here.” But ask they look down, they see that Brenda is dead. They rush to get out of there. After they leave, Captain Cutting and Reznor emerge from the shadows. Cutting says “They’ll be back when they realize it’s the only way to save their sister.
Int. Magic School – Great Hall – Day
Piper and Phoebe burst into the great hall to find an old Paige lying on the sofa, easily pushing 70. An incredulous Piper asks “Paige?” and old Paige musters a smile and says “Well, now I’m a ma’am.

ACT THREE
Int. Manor – Attic – Day
Old Paige orbs in flanked by Piper and Phoebe and nearly collapses from the effort. They help her to the couch as Piper calls for Leo. “Oh, are you two back together? I forget.” Paige asks causing Piper to call for Leo even more insistently. Leo comes in asking what’s wrong and Piper tells him that this old woman is Paige and he has to fix her. Piper explains that Paige has been cut by a cursed athame and is aging. Phoebe, can find nothing in the Book Of Shadows about reversing it but believes that Captain Cutting is banking on the Charmed Ones finding a way to reverse it to save Paige and himself. Leo wants to try to contact the Elders, but Piper says they don’t have time. Paige wants them to save Brenda first and Phoebe tells her what happened. Piper tells Paige they won’t lose her as she’s interrupted by the squawk of Captain Cutting’s parrot. It’s perched on the window sill, drops the note, then says “Shiver me witches. Shiver me witches.” Piper says “Oh you’ve got to be kidding me.” and goes to blow the parrot up. Phoebe stops her and Leo picks up the note. The note says “Captain Black Jack Cutting cordially invites you to Treasure Island.”
Int. Treasure Island Grotto – Day
Reznor and another pirate are holding knives to Phoebe and Piper’s throats. Piper says “We were invited here.” And Reznor asks “Or were you tricked?” He digs into Phoebe’s neck a little and Phoebe says “Wait, you wouldn’t want to be violating parlay now, would you?” After explaining that as long as the captain keeps his word to the crew, they’re tied to him she says “Just doesn’t seem fair…he’s the one who was cursed, not you. How will you ever move on?” Captain Cutting moves out of the shadows and asks that the girls be brought closer. Phoebe tells him that they don’t know how to reverse the curse. He explains that they don’t have to. They just need to call forth the Fountain of Youth. Piper says that’s only a myth to which the Captain tells her that 300 year old pirates are too. He continues that the fountain is very real and he has it right where Ponce De Leon had it wrong…and it’s the only way to save Paige.
Int. Manor – Attic – Night
Piper is putting a spell together as she goes through the Book Of Shadows. Leo scoffs at her plan to break into a museum to steal a golden chalice for the Fountain Of Youth. She has no choice “Without the chalice, we can’t cast a spell, we can’t save Paige. There you go.” She finishes the spell and puts it in her pocket. Leo warns her about getting caught and Sheridan. Piper says “Forget about Sheridan. This is about family. A family, by the way, you’ve got to take care of if something happens to us.” Piper makes him promise he’ll take care of them. After sharing a quiet moment, she goes to get Phoebe so Leo can orb them into the museum.
Int. San Francisco Museum – Night
Piper and Phoebe, both dressed in spy black, step out from behind a large pillar and into a pool of light. They see a high-tech security system guarding the golden chalice. The security looks impenetrable. They talk about how if they pull this off, what Paige will owe them. Piper freezes all of the criss-crossing lasers. Before they can navigate the frozen laser beams, Phoebe’s phone begins to vibrate. She realizes it’s Leslie and that she forgot about the date. Piper says “You mean the publicity stunt, don’t you?” Phoebe doesn’t want to answer for lack of an answer to give him.
Int. Maxine’s Restaurant – Night
Leslie sits alone at a table for two with the phone to his ear. He checks his watch, flips the phone closed, stands, drops a twenty on the table and walks away.
Int. Museum – Night
Phoebe puts her phone away and clears her mind. She takes a deep breath and begins to maneuver through the lasers. She finally makes it to the glass casing surrounding the chalice. Piper causes the glass casing to explode, and then freezes the shattered glass in mid-air around the chalice. Phoebe is impressed as she grabs the chalice.
Int. Museum – Lobby – Night
Phoebe, chalice in hand, and Piper race through the doors setting off the alarm. Agent Brody emerges from the shadows followed by Sheridan and Darryl. “I can’t believe you knew they’d be here.” Sheridan says. She pulls out her gun as Brody tells her that he doesn’t want to catch them stealing, but using their magic.

ACT FOUR
Int. Treasure Island Grotto – Night
Captain Cutting and his crew are waiting at the fountain as Phoebe and Piper enter. Phoebe places the chalice under the fountain’s urn as Piper begins reading the spell. The fountain begins to glow and the urn comes to life and fills the chalice. Captain Cutting takes the Chalice and says “Bottoms up.” and takes a drink. Decades are shedded off him as he becomes a man of about 35. Piper says “Now, my sister.” Young Captain Cutting orders his men to “Run ‘em through!” As the pirates raise their swords, Phoebe says to Reznor “Wait, he broke his Captain’s oath, didn’t he? He promised not to harm us, right?” She gives a small speech about how Captain Cutting is only interested in himself and that this is their only chance to be free “he broke his oath which means you can too now!” Captain Cutting gets angry at the hesitation as Reznor lowers his sword. Reznor decides he’s not going to do it and the other pirates fall in line behind him against the captain. The captain tells them they’ll die as they’re only alive because of him. “It’s been a fate worse than death, I assure you.” Reznor replies. Reznor lunges forward with his sword killing the captain. His skewered corpse rapidly ages again and turns to dust. Reznor thanks the girls just before he and the other pirates poof into dust. The parrot also poofs into dust leaving Piper and Phoebe alone. Phoebe grabs the chalice which still has some left in it as Piper explodes the fountain. Inspector Sheridan suddenly says “Hold it right there!” as the girls see her and Darryl inside the foggy entrance. “I don’t know how the hell you did that, but just don’t move.” Sheridan says. A shot rings out and Sheridan keels over to reveal Brody – gun still raised. Upon looking down, we see that Sheridan has a feathered tranquilizer dart sticking out of her neck. Brody tells Piper and Phoebe that they need to go now, but that will now owe him. He knows they have a sister to save. The girls exit as Darryl wonders if he’s next on Brody’s list. Brody assures him he’s not after him and asks for help in carrying Sheridan.
Int. Manor – Upstairs Hallway/Piper’s Bedroom – Night
Piper is watching something in her room as a rejuvenated Paige approaches. Piper asks how she’s feeling to which Paige responds “Young. Grateful. You won’t hear me complaining about being old again. At least not until I’m thirty.” Piper responds “I hate you.” We see what Piper’s been looking at in her room. Leo is out cold on the bed with Wyatt and Baby Chris asleep in his arms. Paige asks if Piper has any idea on what Agent Brody wants and Piper responds that it’s tomorrow’s problem. Piper and Paige say goodnight as Paige enters her bedroom. Piper enters her bedroom to be started by an Elder saying “It’s not over yet, you know.” The Elder continues with “His wounds won’t easily heal. They may never.” The Elder tells Piper not to give up on Leo and that they’ll need him back before the gathering storm and orbs out.
Int. Bay Mirror – Bullpen/Phoebe’s Office – Late Night
Leslie is working late. Phoebe sheepishly enters. She says she’s sorry. Leslie asks why she didn’t call but she can’t explain it. He asks her what she’s afraid of. He believes she’s afraid of commitment. “Why can’t you just admit you like me, what’s the big deal?” She counters with “Who are you to talk? You’re the one who has to orchestrate this whole contest just because you’re afraid to ask me out straight.” It comes out that she knew in advance of the contest and article. He admits he did this because she wouldn’t return his calls. They continue to fight building up sexual tension and then kiss passionately and start to take each other’s clothes off.
