Welcome To Mooseport, on DVD and Video now! Starring: Ray Ramano ( Everybody Loves Raymond), Gene Hackman ( Young Frankenstien, Superman, The Firm, The Birdcage, Heist, Runaway Jury, Behind Enemy Lines), Maura Tierney ( ER, Forces Of nature, Liar Liar, Insomnia, Primary Colors, News Radio), Christine Baranski (TV Cybill, Chicago, The Birdcage, Cruel Intentions). Director: Donald Petrie. Entertaining movie if nothing else. A local handyman (Romano) is jealous when the ex- President of the US (Hackman) moves to town and runs for mayor...and tries to steal his girl (Tierney) away. So the handyman ((sorry i saw this in theaters and am forgetting all the names)) decides to run for mayor as well. Its his town afterall. They compete all the while for mayor and the girl. Who will win? The smart political-knowing President, or the man everyone in town loves? Okay...I enjoied this movie. I did. I am not even a fan of Ray Ramano...the cast was incredible, which is probably what made the movie what it was. An odd couple really. Which couple you ask? Well Romano and Hackman for one...Romano and Tierney...and who could be a better ex-wife first lady then Christine Baranski? Lots of laughs and chuckles, some awws, some oohs... worth renting and watching at least once....I won't buy it...but maybe you will. DVD Extras: directors commentary 6 deleted scenes with optional directors commentray blooper reel soova commercial 2 easter eggs I rate this:

A Wrinkle In Time Starring: Katie Staurt; Gregory Smith ( Everwood); David Dorfman ( Texas Chainsaw massacre, Bounce, The Ring,Panic); Alfre Woodard ( The Forgotten, Radio, St. Elsewhere); Allison Elliot; and Chris Potter ( Wild Card, X-Men) Baised on the book: A Wrinkle In Time, by Madeline L'Engle Meg (Staurt), her little brother Charles Wallace (Dorfman), and their friend Calvin (Smith) go on a crazy adventure through the stars to rescue Meg and Charles Wallace's father (Potter) who disapeared a year before. They meet fun characters Mrs. Whatsit (Woodard) and Mrs. Who (Elliot), who guide them through their journey. This movie was very very well done. As I had not read the book since chlidhood, I had somewhat forgotten the story, and the movie was wonderful. Longer then most kids movies, but for a good reason...because its a wonderful story that you dont' want to end!! The DVD and movie are in stores now!! I rate this movie:
